What do you do at DDT?
Assisting attorneys in managing their case files. Managing the docket. Communicating with client regarding the outcome of their cases. Sending disposition letters. Managing ADAS evaluation appointments. Managing expungements, abstract research, and Secretary of State hearing cases. Managing discovery files (physical and e-files). Training employees. Sending subpoenas. Contacting clients regarding what the attorneys need from the clients for their cases (ie affidavits, traffic safety school, court documents, community service etc.). Send plea docs. Communicating with court personnel. Signing up clients. Scanning documents and handling all of the mail that comes into the office. Answering client’s questions regarding their cases. Being available to help everyone in the office that needs it. and “figuring it out” ? I may have left a few things out LOL

What are your credentials/past experience, for working in your position?
Studied Sociology at the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign. Graduated with high honors from Northwestern Business College with an Associates Degree in Paralegal Studies.

Spending time with family and friends, traveling, Biking, hiking or chilling by a campfire/fire pit with a nice cocktail or glass of wine.
