The Ticket Clinic is a traffic defense law firm that originated in Miami, Florida in 1987. Since opening, they have grown to nearly 40 offices in Florida and California and have defended over three million cases. In February 2015, The Ticket Clinic expanded to Illinois and quickly gained a large client base and a reputation for successfully defending Illinois drivers. In 2016, in order to focus on their quickly expanding Florida and California firms, The Ticket Clinic ceased operations in Illinois, and Chicago-based attorneys Stephanie Kemen and Derek Martin acquired The Illinois Ticket Clinic’s clients and operations.

One of the first decisions made by the new owners was to change the name of the law firm to Driver Defense Team – and though the name changed, the services offered did not. Having acquired the clients and operations of the Illinois Ticket Clinic, the Driver Defense team maintained the same general services while still performing at the high-level that made The Ticket Clinic so successful. The Driver Defense Team even improved on the previous firm’s operations – making significant changes to improve service and communications to its clients.
